Barber County United is excited to announce that Barber County has been awarded the Pathways to a Health Kansas grant through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas!

BCU hosted a public Community Conversation event at which Barber County residents were encouraged to share their hopes and concerns for our county in terms of health, quality of life and well-being.

​

Together, residents envisioned county-wide projects that aligned with the six "pathways" of the grant. Thanks to the vision of these individuals, along with BCU board of directors, various projects are now underway. Neighbors helping neighbors, organizations partnering together, communities supporting each other – these are the qualities moving Barber County into the future.
